A deeply rooted creative urge characterizes his visual language. For Van de Moortel , this chaotic aesthetic is necessary to engage in a critical discussion about the complex relationships between nature, culture, art, religion, and contemporary society.
HELL ON EARTH is not a static exhibition, but a total experience. Van de Moortel brings the installation to life with live performances, where the boundaries between artwork and audience blur, and the space becomes infused with a unique energy. On January 19, SPECTRA and Joris will once again immerse the audience in a custom-made performance.
