In Luciano Berio’s Différences , musicians converse with electronically transformed sounds given to them for safekeeping by colleagues more than half a century ago. Luc Brewaeys provides in Painted Pyramids his own solo piece ‘Pyramids in Siberia’ a meaningful patina layer.
In Les filles aux yeux bandés and Avec diamants extrêmes Daniel D’Adamo and Filip Rathé respectively muse over poems by Maurice Maeterlinck and Paul Valéry in wordlessly sounding thoughts.
