Orgelvisioenen 2026

Following a successful collaboration two years ago, SPECTRA returns to the Orgelpark in Amsterdam, once again joining forces with Finland-born, Netherlands-based organist Ere Lievonen. The programme presents eight world premieres, all composed during intensive artistic residencies at the Orgelpark. Composition students from KASK & Conservatorium Ghent and the Royal Conservatoire The Hague (KonCon) have taken part in a collaborative programme led by composers and teachers Jesse Broekman (KASK & Conservatorium) and Trevor Grahl (KonCon). Throughout this process, they explored the remarkable sonic possibilities offered by the unique collection of instruments housed at the Orgelpark. The combination of organ and ensemble opens up a fascinating musical territory. With the Hyperorgan at its centre, and enriched by winds, strings and percussion, the instrument becomes an expansive sonic organism—capable of giving voice to the imagination, curiosity and musical vision of a new generation of composers.
